We read everything
Support
Write to [email protected]. This is a one-person studio, so a reply usually takes a day or two — but every message is read by the person who wrote the app.
Reporting a bug
Four things make almost any bug fixable on the first try:
- Which app, and which version — it is at the bottom of the Settings tab.
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- What you did just before it went wrong, step by step.
- A screenshot or screen recording, if the problem is something you can see.
There is no crash reporting behind the scenes, so what you tell us is what we have to work with.
Asking for a feature
Describe the situation you are in when you need it, not just the control you want added. Knowing that you are metering a backlit subject on a tripod in the cold is far more useful than a request for another button, and it usually leads to a better answer than the one that was asked for.
Before you write
For Filmatic, the Q&A already covers metering differences, the negative preview, camera access, and restoring a purchase.
Purchases and refunds
Purchases go through Apple, so we cannot issue refunds ourselves — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase you made is not unlocking, tell us and we will help you get it working.
Translations
Our apps ship in six languages, and a wrong term in your language is a real bug — tell us which screen and what it should say, and it gets fixed in the next release.
